Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">The 2024 Waislitz Global Citizen Awards feature three awards totaling $250,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"font-size:17px\">\n<li>$100,000: Waislitz Global Citizen Award (Grand Prize)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizen Disruptor Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizens\u2019 Choice Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">In addition to the cash prizes, the three winners will be profiled in editorial pieces that will be featured on the Global Citizen platform and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">All applicants will be evaluated based on individual merit, including the following five key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP<\/strong>: How does the applicant embody and exemplify the values and practices of a Global Citizen?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>PROOF OF CONCEPT<\/strong>: Does the applicant have a strong proof of concept with at least 1-2 years of impact towards ending extreme poverty?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>DISRUPTION<\/strong>: Has the applicant created measurable impact in an innovative manner that disrupts the systems that allow for extreme poverty to exist?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>SCALABILITY<\/strong>: How would this award enable\/support the applicant to scale or improve their work?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>ADAPTABILITY<\/strong>: Can the applicant demonstrate examples of their ability to adapt and evolve to changing conditions?&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">The grand prize Waislitz Global Citizen Award will be awarded to an applicant based on the 5 criteria listed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">The Waislitz Global Citizen Disruptor Award will be awarded to an individual who excels in the \u201cDisruption\u201d criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">The Waislitz Global Citizens\u2019 Choice Award will be selected with input from public online voting by the Global Citizen community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who is eligible to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrants aged eighteen (18) years of age or older from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply for the awards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Applications will close at 1:00PM EST on Monday, June 3,
