This project marked the first time PR K23 students independently took charge of the entire process – from concept development and project planning to sponsorship outreach and on-site execution – reflecting Hoa Sen University’s practice-oriented training philosophy.

On January 11, 2026, K23 PR students successfully implemented a community-based project titled “Kidney Health Journey – Walking with Love,” dedicated to children suffering from chronic kidney disease who are currently receiving treatment at Children’s Hospital No. 2 (Ho Chi Minh City)

More than a regular field trip, at Hoa Sen University was a meaningful journey of compassion, social responsibility, and professional growth for students majoring in Public Relations.

The program was held at Lan Vuong Eco-Tourism Area (Ben Tre Province), where young patients and their families enjoyed a warm, nature-filled environment. Students created a “mini Tet celebration” featuring engaging, hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, interaction, and joyful family moments, allowing the children to fully experience the spirit of childhood.

In addition to the activities, 17 children with chronic kidney disease, accompanied by their parents, received meaningful Tet gifts, including one carton of milk and financial support of VND 1,000,000 per child. These gifts served as heartfelt encouragement, ensuring that the upcoming Lunar New Year would still be filled with warmth despite ongoing medical challenges.

Every moment of the trip – from innocent smiles during games to emotional reactions when playtime ended – became a powerful source of motivation for these young “little warriors”, highlighting the emotional impact of human-centered communication in real life.

As part of the journey, the student group also visited Duc Quang Shelter, where they engaged in cultural exchanges and presented gifts to underprivileged children. The trip concluded with a visit to a traditional coconut candy workshop in Ben Tre, where students learned about local craftsmanship and brought home sweet memories of the Mekong Delta. “What stayed with me was not the hardship faced by the children, but their quiet and resilient strength. They deserve to be seen as complete individuals—free to play, to be heard, and to fully experience childhood. Rather than focusing solely on protecting brand image in the short term, Vạn Hạnh Mall chose to confront the crisis with openness, empathy, and responsible action, transforming a challenging situation into an opportunity to demonstrate the brand’s social responsibility and humanistic values.

These themes demonstrate Vietnamese students’ strong sense of social responsibility and their long-term vision for national development.

The Euréka Awards 2025 – A Nationwide Academic Platform

The Euréka Scientific Research Award 2025, organized by theHo Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City, was implemented fromJuly to December 2025on a national scale.

The award attracted 2,179 research projectsfrom more than 7,500 students representing 161 universities, academies, and colleges across the country, spanning 15 academic fields. After the institutional screening rounds and the semifinals held at 16 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, only 192 outstanding projects were selected for final recognition, including 141 Encouragement Prizes.

This interdisciplinary approach, integrating marketing, consumer behavior, public policy, and sustainable development, aligns closely with the key research trends highly appreciated by the Euréka 2025 Organizing Committee, including green economy, digital transformation, environmental protection, and social responsibility.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the hospital’s overall facilities and operational processes while gaining insights into how the Marketing Department functions in a healthcare environment. They learned how communication channels are developed, how patient experience is managed, and how trust is built through professional and ethical communication practices.

One of the most impactful moments of the field trip was the sharing session with the Marketing Director of the Hospital. Through real-world cases and practical insights, students gained a deeper understanding of how marketing operates in the healthcare sector—an industry directly linked to human well-being and life quality.

The session highlighted the strict ethical requirements, transparency standards, and credibility demands in healthcare communication. Strategic thinking in brand building and channel management was also emphasized, along with a powerful core message:

“Healthcare marketing is not about selling services—it is a long-term journey of building trust.”

Hands-on Practice: Customer Journey Mapping and Service Improvement Proposals

Students were then divided into groups to conduct practical analysis of the patient customer journey, from information search and appointment booking to service experience and post-treatment care. Based on their observations, they identified critical touchpoints and proposed solutions to enhance patient experience, particularly for Gen Z customers.

The hospital representatives highly appreciated the students’ logical thinking, proactiveness, and ability to connect academic knowledge with real-world applications. The workshop served as the kick-off activity for the competition “The Host and Digital Content Creation Talent” an academic and creative playground for Hung Vuong High School students, in celebration of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2025).

Following the success of the training session, on October 24, 2025, M.A. Nguyen Thanh Lu was invited to serve as a judgein the Semifinal Round of the “MC & Digital Content Creation Talent Search” competition.

An International Platform Connecting Vietnamese and Korean Students

competition was co-organized by the Daejeon Regional University Alliance (DAESANHYUP), Daedeok University (Korea), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), along with industry partners such as BPN Vietnam and De.blur Korea.

Among the participants, two teams from Bwin nhà cái chính thức were proudly announced as winners in the following categories:

  • Vietnam Local Entrepreneur Award 
  • Daejeon Local Entrepreneur Award 

Aiming to strengthen educational collaboration between Vietnam and Korea, the competition encouraged students to develop global creative thinking, enhance teamwork, and sharpen their cross-cultural communication and integration skills.

Each team consisted of three Vietnamese students and two Korean students, jointly developing a marketing project for a Daejeon-based small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) seeking to expand into the Vietnamese market.
