About the Model Young Package 2024
The Model Young Package contest invites participants aged 15 and above to design innovative packaging for “Sweets in a Box.” The challenge is to create a prototype that protects, preserves and enhances the unboxing experience. This is an opportunity for students and professionals to showcase their creativity and revolutionize sweets packaging.
Begin by selecting one of the two briefings and submitting your digital prototype:
Briefing 1: Design a sophisticated omnichannel packaging for sweets.
Briefing 2: Create packaging for any sweets of your choice.
Who can participate in this competition?
The competition is divided into two submission categories:
High School Students: For young talents still in secondary education.
University Students and Designers: Open to university students and professional designers.
Submissions will be assessed by a panel of design and packaging experts, with a focus on innovation, functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony where the winners will be revealed. Winning designs will be featured, offering participants valuable recognition and exposure.

Additional special awards include recognition for eco-friendly design and an audience choice award, contributing to a total prize pool of €28,000.
